    Pump Overhaul Cost Estimator

Estimate your chemical pump overhaul cost from pump type, size and condition: seal set, bearings, mag-drive assembly, gaskets, labor and testing. Estimates are planning ranges — Teflow quotes after inspection, and the estimate feeds the repair-vs-replace decision.

    Time to overhaul?

Book an inspection: we dismantle, measure, quote firmly and overhaul with genuine parts, tested before return.

    Overhaul cost explained

    1

    What an overhaul includes

A full chemical pump overhaul covers: dismantle and inspection, mechanical seal set, bearings, gaskets, mag-drive assembly where fitted (magnets, bushings, containment shell checks), impeller and casing wear assessment, re-assembly, alignment and a pressure/run test before return. The estimator prices these by pump family and condition.

Mag-drive rebuilds cost more because the drive assembly is the largest single part — PP builds run lower, PFA builds higher, reflecting the material.

    2

    Condition drives the range

A well-maintained pump in "good" condition needs seals and gaskets only; "fair" adds bearings; "poor" adds wear-part replacement and possibly shaft work. The estimator applies a condition factor to the base ranges: 1.0×, 1.2× and 1.5×. Motor rewinding, corroded casing replacement and panel work are excluded and quoted separately.

Every estimate carries the rule from the platform: ranges for planning, firm quote after inspection. No two pumps dismantle the same — the inspection is what makes the number honest.

    Budgeting and decisions

Take the estimate into the LCC calculator for the repair-vs-replace decision, and into the energy calculator if the overhaul restores efficiency. Teflow overhauls PP, PFA, PTFE, SS and multistage pumps with genuine parts and a test certificate — call +91 98251 62709 to book an inspection across Gujarat.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Technical & Operational FAQs

Q1.What does a pump overhaul cost?

Typical planning ranges: PP mag-drive rebuilds roughly ₹30–60k, PFA mag-drive ₹40–80k, seal-type chemical pumps ₹25–55k, depending on size and condition. These are guidance ranges — Teflow quotes firmly after inspection.

Q2.What is included in the overhaul?

Dismantle and inspection, seal set, bearings, gaskets, mag-drive assembly checks (and replacement where worn), impeller and casing assessment, re-assembly, alignment and a test run before return. Motor rewinding and casing replacement are quoted separately.

Q3.How long does an overhaul take?

Typically 2–5 working days for seal-type pumps and 3–7 days for mag-drive rebuilds, depending on parts availability. Standard parts are usually in stock; specials add lead time.

    Q4.Mag-drive rebuild or new pump?

Mag-drive rebuilds usually cost 30–50 % of a new pump and restore full performance — worth it when the casing and motor are sound. The LCC calculator compares the economics against replacement with your running costs.

    Q5.Do you test after overhaul?

Yes — every overhauled pump is pressure-tested and run-tested before return, with readings documented. The estimate includes the testing; the report travels with the pump.
